Established in 1971, Aidan and Joan
MacManus have earned an international reputation for fresh seafood
in their harbour-side restaurant in the picturesque fishing village
of Howth. However, we are still only 20 minutes from the bustle
of Dublin City and Dublin Airport. In 1999, we extensively rebuilt
our old Harbour Master's house, relocating the restaurant to the
first floor with panoramic sea-views, and adding eight guest bedrooms.
All the bedrooms, named after Lighthouses, are stunningly located
overlooking Balscadden Bay.
We are named after King Sitric II, Norse King of Dublin in the
11th Century who had a close association with Howth and was son
in law of the famous Irish King, Brian Boru. |
